Vast Ocean (Tonga) Aquaculture Company Limited is an aquatic cultivation corporation that advocate sustainable development of ocean resources, sea ranching is the aspect our company endeavor.
Vast Ocean can manage to produce our sea ranching in an organic environment, providing safe and health products into the markets. Also taking extra attention to do not harvest the wild stocks in the area is mandatory as well as precautious action to ensure the sea life is sustainable.
We started operations in 2018
In July 2018, His Majesty’s Cabinet approved for the Ministry of Fisheries to sign a Memorandum of Understanding with Vast Ocean (Tonga) Aquaculture Company Limited as a partnership working on aquaculture activities, particularly farming of sea cucumber. The first sea cucumber hatchery has been operated later in 2018.

Vast Ocean is aiming to explore and diversify our business to accommodate the competitive commercial atmosphere. Given ourselves the opportunity to innovate and always be the pioneer in the aquaculture industry, never satisfy to the status quos. Hence, we have identified 10 years plan as roadmap in the company to pursue our success.
Local community

Vast Ocean set up a program to transfer the aqua farming skills into the villages and local communities and continuously expand its scales to other outer islands’ local communities
Development of complementary products
Experts in Ocean University of China work with us to produce sea cucumber supplement products. It is adding value into the sea cucumber and targeting alternative market in premium consumer group
Advancing spawning capability
Work with various organizations and our R&D team to study the data collected in spawning, and provide the recommendation to specific area to enhance, the skill, therefore, improve time to time.
Go green in hatchery
Vast Ocean is taking a serious concern of climate changing, we are planning to build a renewable energy supply to the hatchery, be the first sea cucumber hatchery in south pacific which fully operated in green source.
